About the Renewal of the Library System
As of January 8, 2026, the library system has been renewed.
With this renewal, the following main changes have been implemented:
The URL for the catalog search (NAOJ OPAC) has been changed
- Old OPAC：https://libopac.mtk.nao.ac.jp/opc/
New OPAC：https://libopac.mtk.nao.ac.jp/opac/opac_search/?lang=1
MyLibrary has been replaced by MyOPAC
- Users who previously used MyLibrary have been notified separately.
Those who wish to start using MyOPAC are asked to refer to the MyOPAC page and contact the library.
Updates to shelf location display in OPAC
- For materials held by the Mitaka Library, shelf locations, which were previously indicated only as “Mitaka Library,” are now divided by material type.
Clicking the “Location” link in the OPAC search results will display a map.
The automated self-checkout and return machine has been replaced
- Please place books aligned to the left when using the machine.
